How to decorate bar carts for Halloween?
The holidays are the times I get excited about decorating my bar cart. I remove all of my alcohol in order to make room for holiday decor on the cart. Let’s get started with this year’s Halloween Bar Cart Styling.
First, I like to clear everything off of my bar cart to start with a fresh slate.
Now you’ll want to play around with the decorations you have and rearrange as you go. To be honest, I find myself rearranging my cart and buying more decorative items the further we get into the holiday season.

To start styling your bar cart, you’ll want to begin with your statement piece. For me, my statement piece is my Hocus Pocus sign. It is the largest and most prominent part of the bar cart. A fun statement is piece is great if you have lights, I have a pretty fun one for Christmas so still trying to find a comparable statement item for my Halloween bar cart.
After you find your statement piece, you’ll want to start placing your next largest items. Scatter these on the cart so one side is not heavier than the other. For me, these halloween items include my coffin letter board, my skeleton figures and spell books.
Lastly, you’ll place your accessory items which include glassware, smaller decor items, bar cart accessories such as straws and napkins.
Let’s talk lights! I love adding any kind of light to my bar cart especially for the Holidays to make it more fun! The light elements on my Halloween bar cart/console include pumpkin tea lights, my skeleton on the second tier, 3 LED potion bottles and fairy lights that I placed inside the skeleton mason jars. I’d love to add more lights, especially the pumpkin tea lights. You can never have enough lights, am I right?

Overall, I’m really happy with the way this year’s Halloween Bar Cart turned out! I’d love to see your bar cart, send me yours on Instagram! Check out my reel on the styling of my bar cart.
