POV: You’ve wanted to be a mom your entire life but now is not your time so you freeze your eggs while you wait for God’s perfect timing.

I’ve wanted to freeze my eggs for a few years now and if I can give any advice, it would be to do it as early as you can for optimal results. Freezing your eggs allows you freedom from the pressure society has on women’s timelines.

We all know our plans for our life don’t always go as we had imagined in our head but deep down know it’s for the best. I love my life the way it is right now, I’ve had such a fun year traveling and wouldn’t change a thing. God has a plan that’s better than anything we can ever imagine. And for now I’m enjoying my life.

I had my initial consultation back in March but was always traveling during every cycle the clinic had. I began my initial prep for my egg freezing about 60 days ago with no alcohol, no tretinoin and taking all the vitamins as they instructed.

I had 10 days of injections before my final egg retrieval this week.

Halloween Mini S’mores Cups🎃

These s’mores cups are quick and minimal mess!

You’ll need:
Seasonal marshmallows/Peeps
Keebler ready crust - graham pie crust
Hershey’s, Reese’s or whatever chocolate your heart desires! 🍫

Bake in the oven at 350 for 5-8 minutes depending on your oven. Keep an eye to make sure they don’t burn (unless that’s your thing).

Banana Ghost Pops🍌👻

An easy Halloween treat! All you need is a banana, white meltables, shredded coconut and either raisins or chocolate chips for the eyes.

I will warn you, these are messy but tasty😅

Halloween Cookie Monster Truffles 🎃🍪👀

To Make:
1. Using a food processor or your hands, pulse a box of non-frosted baked sugar cookies. I used the pillsbury ready to bake Halloween ghost sugar cookies. I loved that they turned the dough purple! (Can also turn to crumbs with your hands in a zip lock bag)
2. After the cookies are pulsed, add 2oz or cream cheese and blend again until the mix is dough like.
3. Roll truffle cookie dough into round balls and freeze for 15-20 minutes.
4. Melt candy melts (I used a variety of green, purple and orange melting chips) and dip your frozen truffles into the melted chocolate. Top with eye balls. (I used mini and medium eyeballs)
