Now on to 10 Christmas Photoshoot Ideas You Need To Take This Year:
1. wRAPping christmas PRESENTS photo op

The best way to create a wrapping presents Christmas photo is to strategically set up your wrapping paper or gift bags. If you have colors that go together that will help the photo mesh together.
Another way that will help fill the frame is to surround yourself with more props. Set yourself up in front of the Christmas Tree and add some pillows or plate of cookies, etc.
A fun creative Christmas photo idea would be to lay yourself across wrapping paper and take a birds eye view photo.

2. Decorate the Christmas Tree
An easy Christmas photoshoot idea is to snap a photo while you’re decorating the Christmas tree.

Here’s a photo with me and my boyfriend decorating our Christmas Tree. In fact, I have another blog post entirely on the best Christmas photo ideas for couples. Check it out here.

3. Find a large christmas tree in your town

With the Holiday season here, most shopping centers have beautifully decorated ginormous Christmas trees so you may as well use it to your advantage and use it for a photo op. This tree can be found at Pacific City in Huntington Beach, CA.
4. Show your christmas spirit

In this case, I’m jumping for Joy because the Holidays are here! Play around with your caption and the photo, “Christmas Got Me Like”
5. Take a Cozy Selfie with a Warm Beverage

Grab those coffee mugs or Starbucks holiday cups and snap that picture for an easy Christmas selfie. This Christmas photoshoot can include your face or just a straight on view of your holiday cup.
6. Modern Day Mrs. Claus

Time to grab those Santa hats and take a cute photoshoot in front of the Christmas tree.
Pro Tip – Try to use a lower F Stop to boca out the Christmas lights in the background for a fun look.
Another tip, is to try and incorporate Santa hats in your Holiday photos for an easy prop to get even more of a Christmas vibe to your photos.
7. Set Up A Christmas Movie Scene

Now, this is one of my favorite type of Christmas photos to take every year is setting up a movie scene. Grab a Seasonal mug (AKA easy prop), cozy slippers and set up in front of your laptop or TV while your favorite Christmas movie is playing.
8. Cozy Christmas Cup In Front of the Tree photo idea

Similar, to the Christmas Movie Scene Photo this doesn’t require any electronics. You just need a cozy Holiday mug, Christmas tree with lights and there you go, a cozy cute Christmas photo op. Tip, wear your Christmas PJ’s to really make it cozy. Even better, if you have a fire place! Nothing says warm and cozy like a fireplace.
9. Matching Christmas PJs

It’s time to bust out those Christmas flannel pajamas or matching Christmas onesies, get in front of the tree for this Christmas photoshoot. I’m a sucker for matching family pajamas and any photo op with matching Christmas PJ’s will be a hit in my books.
Or just wear some Christmas pajamas and take a cute Christmas selfie and show off those winter plaid pajamas.
10. read a christmas book

Lastly, try including something sentimental for a photo idea. In this case, my father reads me The Night Before Christmas every single year or grab any Christmas book for a fun Christmas photoshoot.
Tip: Fairy lights can also help elevate any Christmas photo shoot. I use them in a lot of photos for Instagram.
