Where to get the best Asian food in Crested Butte?
Ryce asian bistro
Order the Orange Chicken and thank me later! This is hands down the BEST orange chicken I have ever had in my life. If another restaurant has better orange chicken than Ryce, I will be in shock.

Ryce Asian Bistro offers large portions big enough to share (if you’re willing). The photos don’t do the portion size justice. This place is always busy, especially with takeout orders so make sure to get there early! We ordered the orange chicken, thai curry chicken and the drunken noodles. We had plenty of leftovers.
wHERE TO GET THE BEST CRAFT COCKTAILS in crested butte?
the Dogwood
This little gem is one block off of the main street. There is not a lot of seating available so be prepared to wait if you come around a busy time. The Dogwood offers a variety of craft cocktails that will accommodate everyone in your party. Aside from craft cocktails, they also offer unique small bites and desserts. This is a great spot to grab a drink and appetizer before heading to dinner or a night out on the town.
Where to get the best american food in crested butte?
tHE BREADERY

This modern eatery is a must! I highly recommend making reservations (try to make reservations for any where in CB). This is a newer restaurant to the Crested Butte area. The food was delicious, my mezcal cocktail hit the spot and the aesthetics of the bar and the upstairs overlooking the bar were beautiful. Although, there is a backroom near the bathroom that’s pretty blah so try to not get sat back there. I would have loved to be sat near the window downstairs, but apparently that’s only for a 4 top (makes sense, but let me tell you when we left it rubbed me the wrong way that there was a couple sitting there). I ended up liking the upstairs more with the view overlooking the bar anyways but you get the point. I’m getting off topic, let’s get back to the food!
We ordered the kale salad, baked mac n cheese, the bianca pizza and the cinnamon roll dessert. The kale salad and baked mac n cheese were delicious. The bianca pizza was really good once we order a side of balsamic to drizzle on it (please do this to the pizza). The cinnamon roll dessert was just okay, there were only a few bites of soft cinnamon roll and the rest was kind of dry. I think it’s because there are 4 mini cinnamon rolls so not a lot of cinnamon roll centers.

The last Steep bar & grill
Looking for a delicious bar and grill? The Steep has a variety of menu options that is sure to please everyone. All of the staff was very friendly. Again, I recommend coming early or be prepared to wait.
I ordered the house margarita and had the bartended make it spicy (bc spicy margaritas are bomb) and it was a VERY DELICIOUS spicy margarita! For an appetizer, we chose the coconut shrimp and it was a great choice! For our entrees, we ordered the daily special which was teriyaki tacos that were not lacking any flavor or ingredient. Seriously, some of the best tacos I’ve had. I even tried recreating them once we came home, but I didn’t come close!

where to grab drinks at a local dive bar in crested butte
TALK OF THE TOWN
This is the ultimate local dive bar where you’ll see the locals frequent every night as well as skiers after a long day on the mountain. There’s live music on the weekends and a great place to hangout. It’s just like any dive bar around with all kinds of decorations to look at. They also have a shotski so be sure to take advantage of that!
I didn’t know this prior to visiting Crested Butte, but apparently for $5 at any bar in Crested Butte you can get a Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer and a shot of Jameson.
the eldo
We visited this place on a Wednesday night which is known for open mic night and it was a great show to see all the locals come out and show support of their friends up on stage. Acts included singing, poem reading and comedy.
The service was not great here and I do not recommend ordering a mixed drink unless you prefer alcohol-free drinks. Stick with a canned beverage or a beer. There is a patio that over looks the main street in Crested Butte where you can snap a cool photo of all of the pretty colored businesses.
WHERE TO GET THE BEST DESSERT IN CRESTED BUTTE
NIKy’S MINI DONUTS

Looking for gourmet mini donuts, Niky’s mini donuts needs to be a stop on your list in Crested Butte. Niky’s is a boutique mini-donut desert shop experience. It is decorated with charm from the 50’s but with a modern twist and all of the candy you can think of. I ordered a box of 6 fresh, made to order mini donuts and I was able to choose from over 20 tasty flavors. How fun?! After you order, you can stand at the window and watch them make your delicious creations!

tin cup/third bowl
This little dessert shop offers Powzookies (think Pazookie), dessert waffles, ice cream, baked goods and more. I ordered a customized powzookie and it hit the spot! I was so full but I kept eating, it was that good!! You’ll want to try Tin Cup even if it’s 0 degrees outside, burr!
